Sisters Rodeo
Sisters Rodeo has a reputation for being among the best rodeos in the nation, not just for the quality of competition, but because of the professional crews that keep the action fast-paced, the entertainment unbeatable and a setting of beauty that can’t be surpassed. This event takes place in Sisters, Oregon every June and is only a 15-20 minute drive from the hotel.
Deschutes County Fair
Visit the annual Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo, always the highlight of the Central Oregon summer! Experience all the Jam-Packed Fun of the largest county fair in the state of Oregon, attracting over 250,000 folks each year. The fair happens every year during the end of July through first week of August. The grounds and expo center is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
BMX
BMX Compititions happen all throughout the year in Redmond, Oregon's Expo Center. The main event includes the Great Northwest Nationals, located indoors at Redmond’s Deschutes County Fairgrounds, the First Interstate Bank Center has played host to the Great Northwest national for a little over the past decade (since 2008) and there’s a good reason this race keeps returning to Central Oregon. Great track, great racing, great riders and great amenities. The grounds and expo center is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
OHSET State Championships
Oregon High School Equestrian Teams is dedicated to promoting and organizing equestrian competition in high school athletic or activity programs. Each year Oregon High School Equestrian Teams has it's State Championship where each District competes in various equine disciplines. OHSET is more than just high school teams competing against each other. It is about learning team work, sportsmanship, respect and friendship. This event happens between May - June. The grounds and expo center is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
Oregon Wrestling Classic
The OWA consists of over 6,000 wrestlers, officials and coaches. The competitors and mentors are lead by the executive board of the OWA. Directors from the Kids, Cadets, Juniors, Senior, Mat Officials, Pairings Officials, Cultural Exchange, Women's, Beach Wrestling and Coaches divisions are elected to sit on the executive board, along with the association Treasurer, Vice Chairman and State Chairman. This event happens aunually in the start of Janauary. The grounds and expo center is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
Oregon High Desert Cassics
With events scheduled all day in each of six rings, there is always something to see at the Oregon High Desert Classics. Spectators are welcome at any time to watch the athleticism of the horses, wander through the marketplace booths, and have a meal from the food trucks. This is a rare opportunity to see top riders from across the continent as they compete for over $150,000 in prizes. The Classics are held each year during the last two weekends of July, running Wednesday through Sunday. Special events include the International Hunter Derby Brunches on Sundays, the Ride Drive and Drink Race (Jumper course, wheelbarrow race, and finishing a beer,) Best Dog Competitions, and the Saturday evening Grand Prix Dinners. The Classics take place in Bend Oregon which is only a 15-20 minute drive from the hotel.
ADGA NATIONAL SHOW
The American Diary Goat Association National Show showcases the achievements of dairy goat owners and breeders for the hard work they are doing to produce high quality dairy goats. The show is a week-long event held annually in late June to mid-July. The grounds and expo center is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
Bend Brew Fest
The annual Bend Brewfest focuses on tasting and enjoying fine craft beer with over 160 craft beers, hard cider and wine happening August 16-18. The event takes place at the Les Schwab Amphitheater which is only a 20-25 minute drive from the hotel.
Wes Knodel Gunshows
Wes Knodel Gun Shows Inc. brings over two decades of event marketing experience. Since 1995 their specialty has been producing Quality gun and knife shows primarily in Oregon and Washington. The sole mission of the company is to bring like-minded buyers, collectors and sellers together. This show happens several times throughout the year in the expo center which is only a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
